The 7:05 a.m. accident occurred in a curve on Oak Hills Road about 450 feet south of Lonesome Pine Trail. A report filed by Deputy Sheriff Jeff Caudill said the collision took place when an eastbound Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Jodi R. Lane, 32, of Oak Hills Road, and a westbound 1985 Chevrolet pickup driven by Teddy G. Dean, 67, of Lonesome Pine Trail, met in a curve. After the collision, Jodi Lane and her passenger, Katelyn R. Lane, 11, were transported by a Greene County-Greeneville Emergency Medical Services ambulance to Takoma Regional Hospital. Dean and two other passengers in the Lane vehicle reportedly were not injured. Copyright © 2008, The Greeneville Sun |
