Results from Greene County middle school and elementary school softball and baseball games on Thursday:

C-DMS Nips Blazers

Chuckey-Doak Middle School defeated Nolachuckey 2-1 in softball.

The Lady Knights were led by Hannah Riddle with two singles and Katie Adams with a single. Riddle also picked up the win on the mound striking out 10 batters.

Nolachuckey was led at the plate by Kylie Renner with a single.

Bears Beat DeBusk

The Camp Creek Bears had a makeup game with DeBusk Thursday and picked up a 6-2 baseball victory.

Ryan Renner went the distance on the mound, scattering five hits with five strikeouts and only one walk. Leading the hits were Michael McGhee, Cody Reaves, Nick Haire, Willie Wagers and Ryan Renner.

This was the final regular season game for the Bears. The county tournament begins Saturday at North Greene.

"I would like to personally thank all of the players for their hard work and the parents for being so supportive during the season," Coach Tony Schroeck said.

DeBusk Girls Win

The DeBusk girls beat Camp Creek in softball in a 9-0 shutout. Sarah Luttrell had a double and single and Jessica Gallihar two singles. Logan Dunn was the winning pitcher, allowing only one hit.

In an earlier game, Kasey Bailey of DeBusk had a home run in a win against West Pines.
