Carlyle R. Weeks Sr., 72, of Warren, N.H., died Saturday at Life Care Center of Greeneville.

He was of the Baptist tradition of faith.

Mr. Weeks served in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include six children: Carlyle R. Weeks Jr. of South Carolina; Michael T. Weeks, Loraine May Weeks and Matthew Terrance Weeks, all of Maine; Leslie Karen Weeks of Michigan; and Christine Holly Weeks of New Hampshire; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and his former wife: Elizabeth A. Felch of Maine.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Henry E. Weeks Sr.

A graveside service was held at 10:30 a.m. today in the Andrew Johnson National Cemetery.

Pastor Billy Gragg officiated.

The Greene County Honor Guard conducted a military graveside service.

His friends were pallbearers.
