Valerie Irene Wisniewski Died: May 3, 2008 Valerie Irene Wisniewski, 57, died Saturday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. Her family stated, "She loved flowers and was a floral designer. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, and was an avid bowler and bowled in two different leagues. "She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She really enjoyed the art work of Thomas Kincaid." Mrs. Wisniewski was a daughter of the late Joseph and Esther Karbin and was the widow of Raymond Wisniewski. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Heather and Joshua Ferguson and Danielle and Christopher Whitehead, all of Greeneville; eight grandchildren: Jim Fritz and John Fritz, both of Mt. Pleasant, Ill., Kyle LaForce, Leland Whitehead, Nathan Ferguson, Ashley Ferguson, Zack Ferguson, and Landyn Whitehead, all of Greeneville; one brother: John Karbin of Peoria, Ill.; one brother-in-law: Bob Bykowski of McHenry, Ill.; three special nieces: Suzie Hendrickson and Cathy Bykowski, both of McHenry, and Jamie Carr of Damascus, Ark.; and a special friend of the family: Keri McCamish. She was preceded in death by one sister: Marie Bykowski. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. today at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation at 7 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. Joshua Ferguson will officiate. A committal service will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning in Andrew Johnson National Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 9:30 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Karbin, Joshua Ferguson, Christopher Whitehead, and Nathan Ferguson.
