Roy Luther Key Died: April 30, 2008 Roy Luther "Dob" Key, 90, of John Graham Road, Greeneville, died Wednesday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. Mr. Key was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife of 56 years: Mable Collins Key; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Larry and Pat Key of Greeneville and Darrell Key of the home; four daughters: Mitzi Gass and Amy Crum, both of Greeneville, Teresa Key of Jonesborough, and Debbie and Jimmy Shepard of Rogersville; her grandchildren: Shasta Crum, Adam Gass, Eddie Key, Lee Key, Michelle Payne, Phoebe Shilley, Angie Key, Victoria Collins, and Chad Collins; a sister: Gladis Adams of Greeneville; a brother and three sisters-in-law: James and Etta Key of Greeneville, Margaret Key, and Kathleen Key; several nieces and nephews; and special friends of the family: Tina Young, Randy Sensabaugh, and John Sexton. He was a son of the late John and Claudia Key and was preceded in death by seven brothers: Albert Key, Ralph Key, Charlie Key, Lawrence Key, Bill Key, John Key, and Buford Key; and a sister: Liza Mae Fox. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Kiser Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Junior Shipley and the Rev. Anthony Payne will officiate. A committal service will be held at 11 o'clock Friday morning in Cross Anchor Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at 10 o'clock at the funeral home to go in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Gass, Eddie Key, Ricky Key, Chad Collins, Bryant Jones, and Jackie Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Kay Foshie, Lynn Collins, Donald Keller, Harold Riddle, Dr. Joe Austin, Jerry Jones, Dent Key, and Roger Carter.
