Her family states, "She enjoyed traveling, especially cruises and bus tours, and major league baseball and was an avid Yankees fan. Her happiest times most recently were spent with her beloved, as she referred to them, "granddogs," "Zoie," "Otto," and "Mattic," which she loved so much."

Survivors include her a son: Ralph M. Lowery Jr. of Afton; two stepsons: Rodney Lowery and Gary Lowery, both of Jonesborough; her grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law: Jamie Lynn and Angie Lowery of Afton, and Brandon Lowery of Greeneville; her stepgrandsons: Xavier Painter and Isaac Allen Painter; her sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law: Mildred Dearstone and Mary Frank Phillips of Greeneville, and Edna and Howard Strong of Indiana; several nieces and nephews; her dear friends: Ana Mae Morrow of the South Central community, Flo Phillips, Roger and Reva Phillips, Florence Johnson, and Bradley Johnson, all of Greene County, and Louise Devoe of East Earl, Pa.; and a special friend of the family: Brenda Fellers of Afton.

She was preceded in death by a sister: Juanita Keller; four half-sisters: Lucille Heffernan, Nola McCoy, Hazel Mitchell, and Mary Jennings; and three half-brothers: Tommy Keller, Hugh Keller, and Taft Keller.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Refuge Church. The funeral service will follow at 7 o'clock.
