Richard Lee Woodard Died: March 4, 2010 PORTSMOUTH, Va. -- Richard Lee Woodard, 58, formerly of Greeneville, Tenn., died Thursday, March 4, in Portsmouth. He was the widower of Bettie Jean Bright Woodard, his wife of 23 years who died March 19, 2004. "Richard will be greatly missed," his family stated. Survivors include three sisters: Jacqueline Woodard, Jennifer Woodard, and Angela Woodard; a niece: Stephanie Frommelt; a nephew: Matthew Hensley; a great-niece: Nicole Frommelt; and a great-nephew: John Frommelt. He was preceded in death by his parents: Doris Woodard and Jack Woodard; and a brother: Doug Woodard. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 11, at Unity Renaissance Center, 1120 Eden Way N., Chesapeake, VA 23320. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
