Died: Nov. 13, 2009

ANTIOCH -- LaShaun Yvette Blair-Mitchell, 46, of Colts Neck, N.J., died Friday at Bay Shore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Mrs. Blair-Mitchell was a daughter of Yvonne Blair of Elkridge, Md., and John Blair of Clearwater, Fla., both formerly of Greeneville.

Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her "loving and devoted" husband: Kenneth Mitchell; a daughter: Sydney Mitchell; two sisters: Tracey Ballinger of Severn, Md., and Kimberly Tyree of Millersville, Md.; a brother: Dean Blair of San Diego, Calif.; her mother-in-law: Julia Bradford Mitchell; and a brother-in-law: Nelson T. Mitchell.

The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at New Generation Funeral Home, 2930 Murfreesboro Pike, Antioch, and will receive from 11 a.m. to noon today at Lee Chapel AME Church, 732 Scovel St., Nashville.

The funeral service will be held at noon today at the church with interment to follow in Hills of Calvary Cemetery.
