Clyde Rader
Died: Nov. 5, 2009
NEWPORT -- Clyde Rader, 90, of Parrottsville, died Thursday, Nov. 5, at his home.
He was of the Methodist tradition of faith.
Mr. Rader was a son of the late Albert and Maggie Barger Rader and the widower of Edith Rader.
Survivors include his children and their spouses: Tex Rader of Milan, who died Tuesday, Nov. 17, Ricky and Sarah Rader of Oak Ridge, Tony and Mildred Rader of Newport, Georgia and Ken Hall of Dandridge, Judy and Danny West and Sandra and Billy Sauceman, all of Newport, and Debbie and Kenny Sane, and Rosemary Bryant, all of Parrottsville; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his sister-in-law: Audrey Rader of Greeneville; several nieces and nephews; and special caregivers: Rosemary Bryant, Nisha Gregg, Mary Miller, and Georgia Hall.
He was preceded in death by a grandson; three brothers: Robert Rader, Gilbert Rader, and Alvin Rader; and two sisters: Alma Dell Williams and Marie Rader.
The funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 7, at Harned's Chapel United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jimmy Williams officiated.
Interment followed in the church cemetery.
