Hazellien Morgan Davis Fannon, 89, of Greeneville, died Saturday evening.
Mrs. Fannon was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and attended Faith Temple Church.
She was employed with North American Philips (Magnavox) for 32 years and retired in 1985. She also worked at Annabelle's Beauty Shop in Mosheim for 25 years.
Her family provided the following statement: "She was an avid reader and loved to spend time selecting her plants and flowers, sharing her garden, making quilts for family members, documenting family ancestry, and most of all, spending time with family and friends.
"She was a devoted wife, mother, 'granny,' and 'nana.'
Her love for the Lord, her courage, and unbridled strength and determination will forever live on in the many lives she has touched.
Survivors include her children and their spouses: Robert "Jack" and Claudine Davis of Raleigh, N.C., Betty and Delmas Malone of Bulls Gap, William "Shorty" and Mary Cecil Davis of Greeneville, Lloyd "Chub" and Mary Davis of Bulls Gap, and Judy and Tommy Holt of the St. James community; her "adopted" children and their spouses: Clelland and Shirley Rush of Sycamore, Ill., and Barbara Harmon Shelton and Darl Shelton of Mosheim; her grandchildren and their spouses: Mike and Trish Malone, Lisa English, Pam Davis, Mark Joiner, William Davis, Karen Reaves, Beth Davis, Tim Coe, Robyn Davis-Lay and her husband, Jason Lay, Robert "Rusty" and Gloria Davis, Angie and Charles Goods, Sherri Jaynes, and Terri Davis; her great-grandchildren: Andy English, Thomas English, Brittany Davis, Alicia Goods, Macy Goods, Cameron Goods, Stacy Jaynes, Tracy Jaynes, Hailey Davis, Alex Malone, Candy Weems, Sam Tilson, and Marston Lay; her great-great-grandchildren: Avery Weems and Kaylee Weems; her sisters-in-law: Phoebe Morgan of Afton and Debbie Morgan of Mosheim; and a "multitude of loving nieces and nephews."
She was the widow of Lloyd Howard Davis and Troy "Jabo" Fannon and a daughter of the late Robert Perry Morgan and Ninnie Elizabeth Whitson Morgan. She was preceded in death by five brothers: Manual Morgan, Cecil Morgan, McKinley Morgan, Harley Morgan and Howard Morgan; and a stepgrandson: Christopher Thomas Holt.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at Jeffers Funeral & Cremation Service.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Tommy Collins and the Rev. David Dugger will officiate.
Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jack Davis, Shorty Davis, Chub Davis, Mike Malone, William Davis, and Rusty Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be Delmas Malone, Tommy Holt, Andy English, Thomas English, Charles Goods, Jason Lay, Darl Shelton, Ben English, Henry Fannon, Pete Fannon, Dr. Michael Odell, and Dr. James Merritt.
