Ercelle Wallace Chambers

ROGERSVILLE -- Ercelle Wallace Chambers, 85, of Rogersville, died Monday morning at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport.
"She went to be with the Lord following an extended illness," the family stated.
Mrs. Chambers was a member of Siam Baptist Church in Elizabethton.
She was a homemaker and a "loving wife, mother, and grandmother," her family noted.
Survivors include her "loving" husband of 63 years: Archie Keith Chambers; two daughters and a son-in-law: Lana Chambers McDonald of Fort Mill, S.C., and Iley (Chambers) and Rick Harris of Rogersville; her grandchildren and their spouses; Kimberly (Taylor) and Mike Bost of Ft. Mill, S.C., Whitney (Harris) and Mike Tilson of Telford, and Kevin and Rebekah Harris of Piney Flats; two great-granddaughters: Quinn Bost and Nora Bost of Fort Mill; her special friends: Roy and Geneva Crownover; and her special caregivers: the staff of Greeneville Fresenius Dialysis, the nurses of Hometown Health Care, and the staff of the G Wing on the third floor of Wilcox Hall at Wellmont Holston Valley.
She was a daughter of the late Harrison and Hassie Street Wallace.
A graveside service will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon in Highland Cemetery. The Rev. John Parrott Jr. will officiate.
