Vicente Torres

Died: Nov. 12, 2009

Vicente Torres, 82, of Springbrook Road, Afton, died Thursday afternoon at the Johnson City Medical Center.

He was a member of Johnson City Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife: Cecilia Torres; two daughters: Gladyz Torres de Mayorga of Greeneville and Estrellita Torres de Chavez of Texas; six grandchildren; and three brothers: Carlos Torres, Efrain Torres and Hernan Torres, all of Ecuador.

Friends may call at their convenience at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m-3 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Diego Jimenez will officiate.

Interment will follow in GraceLand Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Roger Mayorga, Danny Mayorga, Xavier Chavez, Xavier Vicente Chavez, Enrique Hernandez, and Diego Jimenez.
