Jeffery Brian Thompson II

Died: Nov. 9, 2009

ROGERSVILLE -- Jeffery Brian Thompson II, 19, of Rogersville, died Monday due to injuries received in a pedestrian/vehicle accident while working on Interstate 75 in Anderson County.

He was a member of Persia Baptist Church.

Mr. Thompson was employed by Lu Inc. in Nashville.

"His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his new baby daughter, Zoey, and his girlfriend, Zoey's mother," his family stated.

He is survived by his daughter: Zoey Thompson of Rogersville; his parents: Jeffery Brian and Deborah Thompson of the home; a sister: Lauren Thompson of the home; his grandmother: Emily Short of South Carolina; a special uncle and aunt: Phillip and Lyn Thompson of Alabama; and his girlfriend.

The family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at Colboch-Price Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow visitation at 2 o'clock in the funeral home chapel with interment in Persia Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor John McPheron will officiate.
