ROGERSVILLE -- Cheyenne Dakota Burke, 18, of Bulls Gap, died Monday due to a pedestrian/vehicle accident while working on Interstate 75 in Anderson County.
He attended Robertson Creek Baptist Church.
Mr. Burke was employed by Lu Inc. in Nashville.
His family stated, "He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cheyenne touched many lives during his short life time and he will never be forgotten."
Survivors include his parents: Shana and Wayne Seal of the home; his siblings and their spouses: Mandy Styke, Nikki Brown, and Easy Isom, all of Morristown, Brandon Brown of North Carolina, Alex and Crystal Brown of Rogersville, Jesse and Alicia Brown of Oak Ridge, Chance Burke of North Carolina, Brandy and Shane Turner of Bulls Gap, and Tammi Daniels of Morristown; his grandfather: James Edward Poole of Louisiana; his fiancée: Mindy Foster of Rogersville; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his biological mother, and his grandmother, Janie Brown.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 p.m. Friday and from noon-2 p.m. Saturday at Colboch-Price Funeral Home in Rogersville.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Scott Farmer will officiate.
Interment will follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
