Bruce Kirk Harville

MORRISTOWN -- Bruce Kirk Harville, 86, of Morristown, died Tuesday at Life Care Center of Greeneville.
"He finished his earthy race and entered to his rest with the Lord," his family stated.
Mr. Harville retired after 36 years as a mattress builder at Volunteer Blind Industries.
After his retirement he alternated his time with his three children.
He was the widow of Clara Jane Harville, his wife of 23 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Nancy Harville; three brothers: Robert Harville, Clester Harville, and Elisha Harville; and two sisters: Vina Dalton and an infant, Dexter Harville.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law: Cheryl and Andy Seals and Judy and Lee Roy Gass; a son and daughter-in-law: Wade and Shirley Harville; eight grandchildren and their spouses: Suzanne and Danny Carmichael, Barry and Brandy Gass, Amy Gass, Leanne and Casey Hunt, Tosha Harville, Derek and Betty Harville, Doug and Sandra Watts, and Amanda Jane Seals of Greeneville; 13 great-grandchildren and a great-grandson-in-law: Ashley and Justin Young, Daniel Carmichael, Courteney Gass, Braden Gass, Mikalyn Whitt, Marcus Harville, Vandora Harville, Samantha Patton, Cory Watts, Aaron Watts, Naomi Grace Watts, Elisha Watts, and Emma Harville; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Blanche Purkey of Bean Station and Delphia and J.P. Wolfenburger of Thorn Hill; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Mayes Family Services of Morristown, 444 W. Main St.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 8 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Tommy Collins will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 11 o'clock Friday morning in Roseberry Cemetery in Mascot.
Honorary pallbearers will be Justin Young, Casey Hunt, Doug Watts and Dereck Harville.
