Beatrice May Simmons
Died: Nov. 10, 2009
Beatrice May Simmons, 68, of Main Street, Mosheim, died Tuesday morning at her home.
She was a commercial line insurance agent for 45 years.
Mrs. Simmon was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, where she was active in her congregation.
Her family stated, "She was a loving wife, mother, and sister. Her daughter stated, 'She was the best mother anyone could have.' All her friends loved her, and she touched everyone that she knew with her wonderful personality. She also loved her cat, 'Harleyman'."
Survivors include her husband: Everlee Simmons; one daughter and son-in-law: Tamela Lynne and Jonathan Vaughn Evans of Mosheim; one son and daughter-in-law: Michael Anthony and Pamela Barbera of Maryville; two sisters: Brenda Sue Ford of Zephyr Hills, Fla., and Mary Lee Emhof of Mesa, Ariz.; several nieces and nephews; one aunt; one uncle; and several cousins.
She was a daughter of the late Richard and May Coddington.
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. David Boggs will officiate.
