Lenore Mildred Gammon

Died: Nov. 8, 2009

Lenore Mildred Gammon, 79, of 4950 Newport Highway, Greeneville, died Sunday at her home.

Mrs. Gammon had worked as a bank teller.

She was the widow of Murl Dean Gammon, who died Aug. 12, 2008.

Survivors include a daughter: Lesli Gammon of Greeneville; a brother and sister-in-law: Ralph and Ellen Johansen of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; two brothers-in-law: Tom Tobin of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and Alex Levy of Meredith, N.H.; several nieces and nephews; and her special friends: Johnny and T.J. Jennings, and David McWhirter.

She was a daughter of the late Gunnar and Victoria Johansen and was preceded in death by four sisters: Mrs. Bill (Marion) Blackstock, Beatrice Johansen, Jean Levy, and Joyce Tobin.

There will be no formal visitation.

A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the home.

Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
