The family of Willis H. Smith will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. today at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga St., Kingsport.

The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 6 p.m. The Rev. Brian Schuler and the Rev. Richard Harris will officiate.

A military committal service will be held at 11 o'clock Wednesday morning in Mount Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in Afton. American Legion Post No. 3/ 265 along with the Tennessee National Guard will conduct the service.

In addition to those listed in the Monday edition of The Greeneville Sun, he is survived by his mother-in-law: Ruth Taylor of Greeneville; a brother in law: Odean Taylor of Greeneville; two sisters-in-law: Carolyn Fillers of Greeneville and Rhonda Wortham of Kingsport; and a special nephew: Cary Fillers of Greeneville.
