Vontriece Ottinger

NEWPORT -- Vontriece Hawk Ottinger, 92, of Parrottsville, died Wednesday.
Born April 8, 1917, she was a lifetime member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Parrottsville.
She was the widow of M. Glenn Ottinger, her husband of 63 years who died Dec. 17, 2001.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Johnny and Carlene Ottinger of Kodak; her daughter and son-in-law: Jeanenne and Roy Ownby of Parrottsville; a special grandson: Darryl Ownby of Parrottsville; other grandchildren and a grandson-in-law: Julie Ownby of Parrottsville and Rhonda and Derrick Mills of Kodak; a great-granddaughter: Kendall Mills of Kodak; her sisters-in-law: Betty Dorothy Hawk and Elizabeth Hawk, both of Greeneville; a special nephew-in-law: Bill Larkin of Midway; several nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and four brothers.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at Manes Funeral Home in Newport.
The funeral service will follow visitation at 7 o'clock in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Jack Wilder will officiate.
A committal service will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in Luther Memorial Lutheran Church Cemetery.
