Carl M. Seaton

Died: Oct. 29, 2009

Carl M. Seaton, 77, of Gibson Road, Greeneville, died Thursday.

Mr. Seaton was a truck driver for Greene County Express and was a former employee of C.E. Minerals.

Survivors include his wife: Gervaise Seaton; three sons and two daughters-in-law: Tim and Liz Seaton of Knoxville; Craig and Lisa Malone, and Bryan Seaton, all of Greene County; two grandchildren: Brynn Seaton and Dakota Malone; one sister and brother-in-law: Mary and Fred Arwood of Greene County; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a son of the late Monroe and Ettie Seaton and was preceded in death by a brother, Jackie Seaton, and a sister, Imogene Johnston.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon in the funeral home chapel with interment in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens. The Rev. Jim Fillers will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Doyle Arwood, Gene Arwood, Steve Harris, Cary Anderson, Tony Thomas, Lynn Harrison, Dave Casteel, and Mike Waddell.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Brown, Steve Fields, Jim Malone, Eddie Harmon, Willie Saulsbury, and the employees of Greene County Express.
