Judy Ann Dotson Lowe

Died: Oct. 27, 2009

Judy Ann Dotson Lowe, 56, of Erwin died Tuesday at her home.

She was a daughter of Martha Nell Dotson and the late Berthol Dotson.

Her family noted, "Judy believed 'to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.' Her last words were, 'Lord, help me'."

In addition to her mother, survivors include her longtime companion: Delbert Norton; her daughter: Theresa Lowe Carraher of Hillsboro, Ohio, three grandsons: Michael Carraher, Gage Carraher and Chase Carraher; her sister: Brenda Johnson; her brother: Randy Dotson; her nieces and nephews, "whom she loved"; her special friends: Isaiah Woodfin, Brittney Hale, Christy Hale, and Kendrel Dugger, whom she "loved as her own grandchildren"; and her special friends: Bill and Sheila Hensley.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dewayne Lowe, and her brother, Rickey Dotson.

There will be no formal visitation or service.

The family requests, "Please send prayers instead of flowers."

Family and friends will gather at a later date for a time of memories and reflections.
