Died: Oct. 26, 2009

"His love for the New York Yankees and his favorite number 13 was as much a part of him as was his love for his great-grandparents, Byrdie and Robert Pitt."

In addition to his great-grandparents, survivors include his parents: Jeff and Donna Foulks; his mother: Melissa Pitt Starnes; his father: John Thompson; his "little brother": Noah Starnes;  three half-brothers: Holden Metcalf Thompson, Brock Thompson, and Tyler Thompson; his stepfather: Timmy Starnes; his grandfathers: Johnny Pitt and McKinnley Foulks; his special uncles and aunts and their spouses: Johnathan Pitt, Lynn and Debbie Pitt, Danny and Tammy Pitt, Thomas Fanning, Mike Fanning, Rodney Fanning, Colleen and Mark Easterly, Steve and Christy Foulks, Shane and Gina Foulks, Sandy and Rick Malone, and Laurie Thompson; a number of special cousins and relatives, including: Christy and Tony Shelton; his best friends: Trey Ambrose, Jamison Painter, Cole Tarlton, Steven Yokley, Joseph McNabb, and David Cooper; and several other friends "dear to his heart," including: Art and Faye Hopson; and his friend and "love," Karly Frye.

The family noted, "He and Karly always signed off with each other K&A forever.".

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Thursday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock Friday afternoon in the gymnasium of Chuckey-Doak High School. Pastor Stephen Rutherford and Pastor Jonathan Jones will officiate.

Interment will follow in GraceLand Memorial Gardens.

The body will be taken to the school to lie in state one hour prior to the service.
