ERWIN -- Vickie Willen, 44, of Belmont Street, Erwin, died unexpectedly Thursday in Erwin.

She is survived in Greeneville by a sister, Donna Engle.

A lifelong resident of Erwin, Ms. Willen was a daughter of the late Ralph Willen and the late Nancy Louise Nickels Willen Shelton.

In 2002, she retired as a housekeeping supervisor from Erwin Health Care after 13 years of service.

Survivor, in addition to a sister, include one son and daughter-in-law: Toney and Danielle Orren of Erwin; one daughter: Tabitha Orren of Erwin; one granddaughter: Hannah Orren; her stepfather: Frank Shelton of Erwin; one brother: Russell Shelton of Erwin; two sisters and a brother-in-law: Elsie and Robbie Lonon and Christa Sams, all of Erwin; her special nieces and nephews: Donna Presnell, James Engle Jr., Christina Webb-Lonon, Kenneth Collins Jr., David Sams and Alex Garcia; and special friends of the family: Justin Lane of Erwin, Tabitha Orren's fiancé, and Danny Frye of Greeneville, Donna Engle's fiancé.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Robert Ledford Funeral Home, 720 Ohio Ave., Erwin.

The funeral service will be held at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Sammy Nickels will officiate.

Interment will follow in Unaka Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Orren, Justin Lane, James Engle, Joe Presnell, Danny Frye and Robbie Lonon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family for the children and grandchildren.
