Martha Josephine Hartman

Martha Josephine Cox Hartman, 70, formerly of Brown Springs Road, died Thursday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Hartman was the widow of Henry "Bud" Hartman, her husband of 47 years who died May 15, 2005.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Edith Ann Hartman; her parents: Lonzo and Nellie Cox; and three brothers: Clifford Cox, Frank Cox, and Bill Cox.

Survivors include one sister: Betty Crider of Corpus Christi, Texas; two brothers and their spouses: John P. and Ann J. Cox and Robert and Mary Cox, all of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at their convenience from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.

A private graveside service will be held in Zion Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
