JoAnn M. Hamby, 66, of West Allen's Bridge Road, Greeneville, died Thursday evening at the Johnson City Medical Center.
"She went home to be with the Lord with her children by her side," her family stated.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Debbie and Lloyd Powers and Karen Hamby, all of Greeneville; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Terry and Julie Lambert of Wintergarden, Fla., and Donald Hamby Jr. of Greeneville; eight grandchildren: Joshua Powers, Joey Powers, Katie Powers, Emily Powers, Kenny Hamby, and Laten Bales, all of Greeneville, Mathew Lambert of Florida, and Danielle Hamby of North Carolina; her mother: Mamie McDonald of Greeneville; a sister and brother-in-law: Jewell and Ron Boshart of Greeneville; her former husband and special friend: Donald Hamby Sr.; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend of the family: Sam Lyons of Greeneville.
She had a special dog, "Pooh" and a special fish "Finny."
She was preceded in death by her father, Don McDonald.
There will be no formal visitation.
A graveside service will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 1 o'clock to go in procession to the cemetery. The Rev. Doyle Pruett will officiate.
Family members will be pallbearers.
