Betty June Ramsey

Died: July 18, 2008

Betty June Ramsey, 71, a resident of Greene Valley Developmental Center, died Friday morning at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.

She attended First Church of God when her health permitted.

She was the daughter of the late Perley and Beatrice Craine Ramsey.

Miss Ramsey was a resident of Greene Valley Developmental Center for 37 years and will be sadly missed by all those who cared for her, the family stated, adding, "An angel unaware is a fitting tribute for her."

Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law: Shirley and Ronald Jennings of Greeneville; one brother: Bobby C. Ramsey of Greeneville; special nephews and their spouses: Tim and Becky Jennings of Enfield, N.H., and Bryan and Joyce Ramsey of Greeneville; and special great-nephews and great-nieces: Mason and Madison Ramsey of Greeneville and Beatrice and Brady Jennings of Enfield.

The family will receive friends at Kiser Funeral Home from 2-3:30 p.m. today.

A graveside service will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.

Pastor Gerald Rudd will officiate.

Honorary pallbearers will be her caregivers from Greene Valley Developmental Center: Rhonda Morgan, Laura Davenport, Darlene Anderson, Kim Randly, Kim Snelson, Wanda Coffey, Janet McDonald, Joan Shipley, Allison Miller, Angie Johnson, Brenda Johnson, Arlen Price, Nellie Dixon, Chrystal Ball, Mathel Fugate and Amanda Shipley
