June M. Carter, 56, of Woodland Circle, died unexpectedly on Friday at her residence.

Mrs. Carter was an agent for South Greene Bail Bonding.

Her family noted that she had a special pet, "Nikki Jo."

Survivors include: a daughter: Leslie Carter of Mosheim; a son: Brad A. Carter of Mosheim; her fiance, Henry Martin, with whom she made her home; a grandson: Patrick Daniels II of Mosheim; a "stepson": Shawn Martin of the home; a "stepgrandson": Omie Wright; four sisters and three brothers-in-law: Betty and Joseph Easter, Peggy and Jerry Gillen, and Elizabeth Dugger, all of Greeneville, and Phyllis and Jim Rhodes of Florida; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Hobert "Junior" and Debbie Harris, Danny and Rita Harris, and Keith Harris, all of Greeneville; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her parents: Hobert and Estelle Harris; a sister: Marie Anderson; and three brothers: Allen Bowman, Rickey Harris, and Paul Lee Harris.

The funeral service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Monday at Kiser Funeral Chapel.

At Mrs. Carter's request, her body will be cremated. There will be no formal visitation.
