Died: April 29, 2008
Lucy Richards, 69, of Greeneville, died Tuesday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
She was a daughter of the late Tom and Margaret Delph.
Survivors include six daughters and four sons-in-law: Pearl Delph and Ronnie Price of Johnson City, Mary and Steve Owens of Greeneville, Janice and David Absher of Hickory, N.C., Brenda Laws of Wilkesboro N.C., Angela Price and Adam Byrd of Greeneville, and Linda Tucker of Johnson City; one son: Ronnie Tucker of Jonesborough; a special granddaughter: Francis Price, with whom she "shared her life"; 12 other grandchildren: Sherry Pridemore, Lori Scalf, Stephanie Norton, Stevie Owens, Tessa Owens, Roger Hamby, Amanda Pyatte, Brandy Coffey, Josh Coffey, Terry Hamm, Jennifer Richards and John Richards; several great-grandchildren; and a sister: Fannie Coomer of Jonesborough.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Bobby Wade and Kenneth Laws; two brothers: Jackie Delph and Jimmy Delph; and two sisters: Jane Tipton and Betty Tucker.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today and Friday at Jeffers Mortuary.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the mortuary chapel. The Rev. Danny Ricker and the Rev. Buster Shelton will officiate.
Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Adam Byrd, Ronnie Price, Steve Owens, Stevie Owens, Roger Hamby, Adam Pyatte, Don Norton and Tyler Setser.
