Bob Hegedus

Died: April 27, 2008

Robert John "Bob" Hegedus, 50, of Mosheim, formerly of California, died Sunday morning at his home.

He was of the Russian Orthodox tradition of faith.

Mr. Hegedus was a product support manager for quality assurance at Quantum, in Milpitas, Calif.

He was a member of Greeneville Moose Lodge No. 692, the National Rifle Association, and the Sunnyvale Rod and Gun Club in Sunnyvale, Calif.

"He was a loving and devoted husband and father. He loved fast cars," his family stated.

He is survived by his wife: Debbie Hegedus; a son and daughter-in-law: Robert John Hegedus II and his wife, Jessica, of Dublin, Calif.; a brother: Michael Hegedus of Boonsboro, Md.; and special caregivers: Josh with Smoky Mountain Medical Equipment and Dena with Adventa Hospice Services.

A memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the chapel of Rose Hill Funeral Home. Family will visit with friends following the memorial service.
