Congratulations! You're getting married, and we're eager to publish your engagement announcement and wedding story in The Greeneville Sun.

All engagement and wedding stories for The Greeneville Sun are handled free of charge by the Living Department.

We have online and printable forms for both occasions.

    

Submitting An Engagement

Engagements are usually published within a few days after they are received in the office. In order for a photo to appear, as well as all grandparents, education and employment, information must be submitted, and in our office, at least a complete week prior to the wedding.

If the time to the wedding is less than one week, we will announce an upcoming wedding and parents' names.

Submitting A Wedding

We also have a deadline for wedding stories. These deadlines are strictly enforced in an attempt to be fair to everyone. In order for a wedding picture and story to appear in the newspaper, the form and photograph must be returned to the Living Department within a month from the date of the wedding.

Any wedding story received after a month will be written as an announcement without picture or decoration details. Whether or not members of the wedding party are included in the story, as well as other details, will depend on upon the amount of time past the wedding. Wedding stories are placed in the order in which they are received in the office.
