The Greeneville / Greene County Youth Football Association held its bowl day Saturday at West Greene and Chuckey-Doak fields.
WEST GREENE 12, EAGLES 0 (MID)
In a Midget game at West Greene, West Greene prevailed behind Michael Burham with 95 yds. on 17 carries, while Dylan Kirk scored two touchdowns on five carries for 22 yds. Cole Christopher had 42 yds. passing, hitting 3-of-9.
On defense, Dylan Kirk had four tackles, Jacob Justice had four tackles plus a pass interception and Joey Chandler also recorded four tackles.
The Eagles were led on offense by Ethan House, Anthony McGee and William Ervin. Defensive standouts were Joshua Wilkerson with a whopping 17 tackles, while Devin Davis had 12 tackles.
Special individual awards went to Dylan Kirk (offensive back), Joey Chandler (offensive lineman), Joshua Wilkerson (defensive back) and Devin Davis (defensive lineman).
WEST GREENE 6, VOLS 0 (PW)
Also at West Greene, these two teams battled into overtime before West Greene came away with a 6-0 win.
Chandler Barham rushed for 96 yds. on 16 carries, while Garrett Roe got the game-winning touchdown in overtime and added 15 yds. rushing in he game.
Brian McCrary had six tackles on defense, Austin Anderson added five tackles and Wesley Dotson came up with three hits.
Jaevon Gillespie led the Vols on offense with 57 yds. on 11 carries while Tyler Trentham also added some yards. Zachary Fowler had a fumble recovery and six tackles on defense, with Jacques Gillespie coming up with five tackles and Jaevon Gillespie with three tackles.
Special individual awards went to Chandler Barham (offensive back), Austin Anderson (offensive lineman), Jaevon Gillespie (defensive back) and Zachary Fowler (defensive lineman).
TITANS 7, COUGARS 0 (MID)
The Titans edged the Cougars as Ty Waddell had five carries for 60 yds. on the ground and added 53 yds. passing. Shawn Hyde had a 47-yd. touchdown reception for the game's only score, and Michael Ricker added 10 yds. on the ground.
Waddell had five tackles on defense, Hunter Parton had a fumble recovery, a pass interception and two tackles. Tyler Goodson added three tackles.
The Cougars got 51 yds. on six carries from Taylor Thornburg, while Matthew Dibella and Patrick Frank added to the offense. Dakota Hagaman rushed for five tackles, Matthew Dibella had four tackles and Luke Jennings got a fumble recovery plus three tackles.
Special individual awards went to Ty Waddell (offensive back), Hunter Parton (offensive lineman), Dakota Hagaman (defensive back) and Matthew Dibella (defensive lineman).
GREENE DEVILS 20, VOLS 0 (PW)
The Greene Devils won behind a 70-yd. touchdown reception and 10 yds. rushing from Triston Shelton, a touchdown and 51 yds. rushing from Ethan Ross, and a touchdown and 56 yds. rushing from Grayson Burns. Meshach Parman also helped out on offensive with 47 yds.
Devin Jennings had a pass interception and five tackles, Triston Shelton had five tackles and Ethan Broyles added four tackles.
The Vols got 76 yds. on seven carries from Jaevon Gillespie and Cody Allen added some yardage. Tyler Trentham had six tackles, Randall Johnson five tackles and Eli Deyton two tackles on defense.
Special award winners were Triston Shelton (offensive back), Devin Jennings (offensive lineman), Tyler Trentham (defensive back) and Randall Johnson (defensive lineman).
CHUCKEY-DOAK 19, NORTH GREENE 14 (MID)
In games at Chuckey-Doak, the host team won with two touchdowns and 160 yds. rushing from Zach Dyer. Brandon Bowers had a touchdown and 42 yds., while Josh Powell had 31 yds.
Aaron Dishner paced the defense with eight tackles, while Rob Kaltermark and Hunter Cobble each had three tackles.
North Greene's offense was led by Matthew McLean with 21 yds. rushing, Dawson Russell with a touchdown and 7 yds. rushing, and Logan Anderson added a touchdown and 17 yds. rushing. Patrick Coleman and Matthew McLean had five tackles apiece on defense.
Special award winners were Zach Dyer (offensive back), Aaron Dishner (offensive lineman), Matthew McLean (defensive back) and Patrick Coleman (defensive lineman).
CHARGERS 6, CHUCKEY-DOAK 0 (PW)
The Chargers got a win in overtime over the Chuckey-Doak Pee Wees as Noah Rogers got the score in the extra period. Rogers had 33 yds. rushing in the game, while Mason Brown had 70 yds. on seven carries.
Thomas Williams had six tackles, Mason Brown three tackles and Elijah Smith two tackles on defense.
Garrison Brooks and Logan Dyer each carried for 25 yds. to lead Chuckey-Doak's offense while Conner Smith added 16 yds. Defensive leaders were Logan Shipley with seven tackles and Broyles and Dyer with three tackles apiece.
Special award winners were Noah Rogers (offensive back), Thomas Williams (offensive lineman), Logan Dyer (defensive back) and Logan Shipley (defensive lineman).
WILDCATS 13, PANTHERS 0 (PW)
The Kingsport Wildcats won a 13-0 decision over the Panthers Pee Wees.
The Panthers got 95 yds. on eight carries from Jonathan Freshour, Keaton Yost had 42 yds. and Joey Williams added 16 yds. Kaleb Krumbley had a fumble recovery and three tackles while Jaydon Manuel added two tackles.
Special award winners were Ben Fields (Wildcats, offensive back), Blake Neal (Wildcats, offensive lineman), Kaleb Krumbley (defensive back) and Jaydon Manuel (defensive lineman).
PANTHERS 25, SOUTH GREENE 13 (PW)
The Panthers got the win as Jonathan Freshour rushed for 208 yds. on 16 carries and three touchdowns. Keaton Yost scored once and had 51 yds. rushing, while Kaleb Krumbley added 30 yds. on the ground.
Brandon Ford and Jaydon Manuel each had four tackles and John Summers added three tackles.
Blaine Banther led South Greene with 200 yds. rushing and two touchdowns. Banther had seven tackles on defense, Noah Fillers had four stops and Jonathan Butcher had three.
Special award winners were Jonathan Freshour (offensive back), John Summers (offensive lineman), Blaine Banther (defensive back) and Noah Fillers (defensive lineman).
SOUTH GREENE 18, CHUCKEY-DOAK 0 (MID)
Dalton Dunkley scored three touchdowns and had 171 yds. on 12 carries to lead South Greene. Jeremy Tarlton added 46 yds. and Dakota Isley got 8 yds.
Jonathan Macon led the defense with 10 tackles, while Thomas Bird and Tyler Waddell had five stops each.
J.J. Harrison with 47 yds., Hunter Cobble with 42 yds. and Brandon Bowers with 18 yds. led the Chuckey-Doak offense. Aaron Dishner had 12 tackles on defense while Brennon Kimery and Hunter Cobble had five tackles each.
