PRINCETON, W. Va. -- Despite being outhit, Princeton snapped Greeneville's Appalachian League winning streak with a 6-3 decision on Tuesday night.

The Rays did all of their scoring in the first two innings, scoring three in the first and three in the second before holding on for the win.

Princeton got Astros starter Jose Cisnero for four earned runs off only one hit in 1.1 innings of work.

The Astros outhit the Rays 7-4 but couldn't get the runs across.

Jonathan Meyer went 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in a run.

J.D. Martinez was 2-for-4 with a double.

The win for Princeton makes the Rays 5-3 and brings them into a tie for first with Danville in the Appy League East Division.

Greeneville has its three-game winning streak snapped. The Astros are 5-3, falling to third in the West behind Elizabethton (7-1) and Johnson City (6-2).

The Astros play at Princeton again tonight before starting a home series against Elizabethton on Thursday.
