MORRISTOWN -- The Greeneville Middle School boys dropped a 33-32 decision to Maury in the Middle-8 Conference basketball tournament on Friday.
John Bryant scored 11 and Kenny Seal had 10 for Maury. Greeneville was led by Hayes Culbreth with 14 points and 11 rebounds, Zack Finchum with 11 and Trevor Wright with seven.
The game was tight from start to finish, with Maury leading 16-14 at intermission and 24-19 after the third quarter.
Greeneville will play East Ridge for third place today at 5:30.
