CHATTANOOGA -- The Greeneville High School Lady Devils successfully passed their first test in the TSSAA State Soccer Tournament Wednesday afternoon, beating previously undefeated Page High School 2-0.

It is Greeneville's first-ever trip to the state soccer tournament.

Rebecca Willett scored Greeneville's first goal in the 23rd minute, and that 1-0 lead stood up until the 75th minute when Taylor Leng's goal gave the Lady Devils some breathing room.

Alyssa Crum had 13 saves in goal for the shutout.

The Devils advance to the state semifinals Thursday at 4:30, taking on the winner of the Notre Dame/Dyersburg game, which will be played later Wednesday.
