GHS Bowling Teams Bounce Back

Following a setback on Monday, Greeneville's bowling teams bounced back to sweep doubleheader victories from Cumberland Gap Tuesday afternoon.

The boys took both matches 23 - 4 and 21.5 - 5.5, while the girls won 25 -2 and 24 - 3.

Leading bowlers for Greeneville in the first match were Dylan Walsh (192, 199, 146), Ethan Jones (180, 193, 100), Justin Miller (133, 192, 194). Leaders in the second game were Justin Miller (214, 187, 192), Jeff Cogburn (167, 158, 168), Scott Eriksen (155, 163), and Ethan Jones (218).

Leading bowlers in the first match for the Lady Devils were Summer Garber (183, 147, 135) and Brittany Hensley (151, 146, 123) while Jennifer Waldroupe (190, 140, 150) and Tammy Knapp (120, 134, 167) paced match two.

Greeneville will travel to Cumberland Gap on Saturday for another conference doubleheader before squaring off with Chuckey-Doak Monday afternoon.
