Chuckey-Doak Bowlers Get Split At Cherokee

ROGERSVILLE -- The Chuckey-Doak Black Knights bowling teams traveled here on Wednesday for a match with Cherokee High School.

The Black Knight boys took an early lead with a score of 6 - 2 after the first game. They continued their lead in the second and third game with a final score of 17 - 10.

The Knights were led by Tyler Bright with three wins, Eric Roberts and Javier Barnes had two wins each and Ryan Strange, Pipe and Seth Crofts had one win apiece.

The girls lost 18 - 9. Courtney Tweed had three wins, while Renee Norton, Brianna Russell, Becca Lowe and Lachista Dishner had one win each.

C-D travels to Cumberland Gap on Saturday.
