Chiefs, Hornets Divide Pair

Host Glenwood and McDonald split a county Elementary pair on Tuesday night.

The lady Hornets broke a halftime deadlock to win 26-17. It was tied at 10 after two quarters of play.

Baylee Jarrell and Rachel Hensley scored 10 each to lead McDonald. Curiesha Ford paced Glenwood with a game-best 12.

Glenwood's boys inched away in the second throught the fourth quarters to win 27-20. The Chiefs were up 11-10 at the break.

Trey Brown paced the Chiefs and the game with 15 points. McDonald's Justin Pinkston scored 14 points.

Girls

McDonald (26): Baylee Jarrell 10, Rachel Hensley 10, Long 2, Voiles 2, Cheek 2.

Glenwood (17): Jones 2, Jaynes 3, Cureisha Ford 12.
