The 30th annual Bulls Gap Middle School Booster Club Invitational Basketball Tournament will be held Feb. 11-20 at the Bulls Gap School.
The Newport Grammar School girls and the Newport boys are top seeds for the tournament. Several local teams are participating, including the Greeneville Middle School girls, McDonald, Baileyton, Mosheim and Nolachuckey. In the boys' bracket, Greeneville Middle School has entered the varsity and junior varsity, while McDonald, Mosheim, Nolachuckey and Baileyton will also participate.
Action starts on Thursday, Feb. 11, when Bridgeport plays the Rush Strong girls at 5:00, followed at 6:15 by the Bridgeport vs. Edgemont boys. The 7:30 girls game has Jonesville playing McDonald. On Friday, Feb. 12, Greeneville Middle School's girls play West View at 5:00, followed at 6:15 by the Greeneville JV boys vs. Jefferson. The 7:30 girls game has Bulls Gap vs. East Ridge.
