Black Knight Bowlers Get Wins

The Chuckey-Doak Black Knights boys and girls bowling teams were victorious on Monday when they defeated the Dobyns Bennett Indians.

Both teams took an early lead with scores of 5 - 3 after the first game. They continued to dominate with a 12 - 4 lead after the second game.

The girls continued their winning streak with a final score of 21 - 6. The Dobyns Bennett boys rallied in the third game, but it was not enough. The Black Knight boys posted their first win of the season with a score of 14 - 13.

The Black Knight girls were led by Brianna Russell and Victoria Harrison with three wins each. Renee Norton, Courtney Tweed and Abby Bullock had two wins apiece.

The C-D boys were led by Ryan Strange with three wins. Javier Barnes and Nattapon Pavareevong (Pipe) had two wins each. Tyler Bright, Eric Roberts and Seth Crofts each had one win.

The Black Knights play at Cherokee Wednesday.
