MOBILE, Ala. - The Tennessee Smokies (28-37) were no match for Mobile's starter Barry Enright on Monday night as they fell 5-2 to the Baybears (36-29).
Enright was dominant through six innings of work. He limited the Smokies to one run on seven hits, striking out two.
His only run allowed was a long ball by Tyler Colvin in the top-half of the fifth inning. It was the second home run by the Augusta, Ga., native this season.
Jim Adduci extended his hitting streak to nine games by going 3-4 at the plate. Darwin Barney (.332) and Lalli (.335) have both climbed their way into the Southern League's top 10 for batting average.
Tennessee returns to Smokies Park on Wednesday to face the Carolina Mudcats.
