An Afton Road woman was found dead at her home Tuesday morning, apparently of a drug overdose, according to a Greene County deputy's report.

Karen Sue Greer, whose age was listed as 47, had two precriptions filled on Monday, one for hydrocodone and one for xanax, for a total of 90 doses, according to the report by Deputy Adam Arrington.

When her husband returned to the home after 10 a.m. Tuesday and found her lying on the bed, unresponsive, there were only 24 pills found, according to the report.

Greene County-Greeneville Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the scene, according to the report.
