MORRISTOWN -- Walters State Community College students in Morristown will be able to obtain bachelor's degrees from King College by attending classes at Walters State.

The arrangement was just announced by the two schools, which are some 65 miles apart.

Beginning this fall, King will offer bachelor's degree programs in business, nursing and hospitality management at Walters State. In the fall of 2010, King will offer a bachelor's degree in information technology.

According to the Citizen Tribune, the hospitality management degree will be offered at Walters State's Sevier County campus, a first for the school.

King College is a Presbyterian-affiliated institution in Bristol.
