The Greene County Sheriff's Department is investigating the theft of a trailer from a business in Limestone.
A report filed by deputy Robert Livingston said that the 2007 model 16-foot trailer was taken from Yoder Buildings, 3875 Chuckey Highway, sometime between June 23 and July 1.
Entry to the lot where the trailer was parked was made by someone who damaged and removed a pad-lock from a gate behind the building, according to the report.
The value was listed at $3,000.
