The Johnson City Police Department arrested a second person on Tuesday in reference to the assault that occurred at the New Beginnings club, 2910 Bristol Highway, Johnson City, on Sunday.
The assault resulted in the death of James Lewis, of Telford, according to the Johnson City Police Department.
Amber McCurry, 19, of 4202 Ranch Road, Johnson City, was arrested and charged on Tuesday with filing a false report because she allegedly gave investigators misleading information that hindered their death investigation, the release said.
McCurry was ordered held in the Washington County Detention Center under a $5,000 bond. A hearing is scheduled in Washington County General Sessions Court for 9 a.m. on Thursday.
