Mobile Home Damaged In Suspicious Incident

A fire of apparently suspicious origin Tuesday night did about $1,000 in damage to a mobile home on Jockey Road.

According to a deputy's report, a nearby resident heard a "loud pop" and looked out to see the porch of the mobile home on fire, and a car driving away.

The owner of the home, Jessica Brown, told deputies that two people, whom she named, had said they were going to burn her home down because she owed them money.
