An apartment at 175 Twin Barnes Road was damaged by fire about 8:15 p.m. last night.
Gale Hurst, a resident of the apartment, reported that she left home about 7:45 a.m. and returned about 8:15 a.m. and discovered that the bathroom lights would not function.
She later noticed smoke coming from a heating and air conditioning vent, according to the report.
The Town of Mosheim Fire Department extinguished the fire. Cost of repairs was estimated at $5,000.
