Johnson City police on Friday arrested Jeffry C. Caldwell, 21, of 150 Hermosa Dr., Fall Branch, and charged him with one count of forgery over $500 and one count of theft of property over $500.
"The arrest is the result of an investigation that was filed by the victim in which she stated that her personal checks had been stolen and passed in the Johnson City area," a JCPD press release said.
Caldwell was ordered held in the Washington County Detention Center under a $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear on Monday in Washington County General Sessions Court.
