A man charged with six counts of aggravated robbery and another charged with rape were among 10 people arrested by sheriff's deputies on grand jury presentments (essentially secret indictments) on Thursday and early today.

Copies of capiases (arrest documents similar to warrants) on file at the Greene County Sheriff's Department this morning indicated that presentments had been returned by a Greene County grand jury that met on Monday.

Among those arrested Thursday and early today by sheriff's deputies was James Allen Ornouski, 45, of 66 Bainey Broyles Street.

A capias said the grand jury had returned a presentment against Ornouski charging him with six counts of aggravated robbery, one count of attempted aggravated robbery and one count of burglary.

An arrest report filed by Deputy Michael MacDonald said he arrested Ornouski at his residence.

Bond for Ornouski was set at $100,000. He was scheduled to appear for arraignment in Greene County Criminal Court on May 8.
