Landair, the Greeneville-based trucking company, has been chosen by Big Lots Stores, Inc., as the dedicated provider for three of its distribution centers -- in Columbus, Ohio, Tremont, Pa., and Durant, Okla.

In that role, Landair will be responsible for service to all the dedicated stores, yard services and service monitoring of outbound one-way carriers.

Big Lots is the nation's largest broad line closeout retailer, with annual revenues exceeding $4 billion. The company operates more than 1,350 retail stores in 47 states.

Brand-name products from 3,000 manufacturers are supplied to stores through five regional distribution centers.

Founded in 1967, Big Lots is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio.

Shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol BIG.

Landair, a privately held company based in Greeneville, was recently listed as 48th in Transport Topics' "Top 50 Logistics Companies."
