Business reportedly is good at Heritage Community Bank's new branch location at 3626 East Andrew Johnson Highway, which is across U.S. 11E from Walmart and clearly visible from the store's mammoth parking lot.
"It has been an excellent location for us," said Tommy Burns, the
bank's president.
"We've seen dramatic increases in traffic (into the bank) since we opened this
facility," added Aaron Caton, the office's manager.
Burns said that with the opening of Heritage Community's newest location, the bank now has branches at either end of Greeneville as well as downtown.
The spacious, 6,000-square-foot bank has a number of offices, including one for Craig Ogle, the bank's senior vice president.
Ogle relocated from Heritage Community Bank's headquarters office at 14 W. Church St.
Also working at the location with Caton are John Freshour, a vice president and loan officer; Elaine Venerable, a loan processor, and tellers Jane Ann Davis, Karen Lawing, Jane Newton and Tammy Tinch.
Like Heritage Community Bank's other offices, the new branch is open from 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays. Its drive-thrugh window is also open on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
The new branch, which was designed and constructed by Construction Consultants, of Chattanooga, is larger than a similar-appearing office at 1435 Highway 70 Bypass. It has a larger lobby, more offices and a conference room.
The branch's telephone number is 636-5030.
